Summary
CMS recently announced that they are evaluating a formal review process for Medicare Set-Asides in third-party liability cases. What does this mean for trial attorneys and their clients and what might an LMSA program look like? Learn more today in this webinar on Medicare Set Asides!
The Medicare Secondary Payer Act is of critical importance to attorneys who handle workers' compensation, medical malpractice or general liability claims involving Medicare beneficiaries. The "MSP" and its practical application are often referred to by attorneys as confusing, especially as administrative, legislative and case-based guidance are constantly evolving. This presentation seeks to provide the participants with a foundation in the most important basic concepts in the MSP and address advanced concepts relating to how to address MSP compliance specifically in general liability cases and medical malpractice cases involving future medicals that would otherwise be paid for by Medicare.
