Harris Steinberg

Harris Steinberg has represented consumers in San Diego for the past 20 years.  His practice primarily involves insurance coverage issues including insurance bad faith actions as well as business tort litigation and personal injury cases.  He has been retained as an expert in insurance actions and professional liability claims.
 
Mr. Steinberg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from Rider College and his Juris Doctor degree with honors from American College of Law.  He has been admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of California as well as the United States Supreme Court.  He serves as a Judge Pro Tem in the San Diego Superior Court.
 
Mr. Steinberg was President of Consumer Attorneys of San Diego in 1991 and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the San Diego County Bar Association.  He is the recipient of three Outstanding Trial Lawyer awards from the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.
 
Mr. Steinberg was trial counsel in the following cases:  Eastridge v. Shell Oil (interference with economic advantage, $5.2 million), Pepperidge Farms v. Mack (intentional infliction with emotional distress, $1.2 million), Malcolm v. Self Service (fraud claim involving the sale of a franchise, $3 million), Santa Fe Valley Partners v. Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. (title insurance bad faith claim, $1.2 million), Lloyds of London v. Al Jarreau (insurance bad faith, $1.2 million), Cravo v. Sharp Mission Park Medical Group (medical malpractice, $430,000).
